[Case Study] Assembly and Inspection Processes of Care Robots
Analyze the collected performance data! Utilize it for setting standard work times and for process analysis/worker analysis.
We would like to introduce a case where "adFactory" was implemented in the assembly and inspection processes of the "Transfer Support Robot Hug" manufactured by FUJI Corporation. Instead of using a work instruction manual, assembly tasks are carried out on a tablet. In the inspection process, instead of filling out inspection reports, inspection results are entered on a tablet. Additionally, information from the operator's terminal is displayed on monitors in the office as progress from the production site, allowing managers to check the situation in real-time. 【Implementation Effects】 ■ Assembly man-hours: 9 hours/unit → 4 hours/unit ■ Number of workers and production units: 4 people for 3 units → 3 people for 3 units ■ Management man-hours for inspection reports: 136 hours/year → 0 hours/year ■ Daily report writing time: 20 hours/year → 0 hours/year ■ Direct-to-indirect ratio: 60% → 80% *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
